About this piece:
Text paired with images have been written with a slight shift in narrative direction. The definition of utopia serves as introduction to the book with the narrative fragments of ideal cognitive processes. The images, text fragments and their shaped configurations are pieces that will, hopefully, be assembled by the viewer’s Gestalt into a meaningful whole, or not.
The images are wood engravings printed from the blocks, the text is hand written in each copy of the book. Text paper is Somerset, the boards Fabriano Murillo, the wrapper St Armands paper.
