We Float Like Dust is a visual depiction of earth’s physical placement within the cosmos has changed with humanity’s changing perception through time. Included within the imagery is a quote by Carl Sagan that speaks to this ever changing perception of ourselves and how we will continue to view our future placement within the cosmos. This book is printed offset on French’s Paper and is bound as a drum leaf.

Erin Malkowski, a designer and printmaker is pursuing her Candidacy in a Master of Fine Arts degree in Book Arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Malkowski’s work emphasizes on the (in)significant relationship one has within their place in the universe. Malkowski has spent time as the Artist in Residence at Minnesota Center for the Book Arts in Minneapolis. Malkowski has exhibited nationally in North Dakota, Minnesota, Texas, Tennessee and Philadelphia.
