About this piece:
The wet dawn inks are doing their blue dissolve.
On their blotter of fog the trees
Seem a botanical drawing.
Memories growing, ring on ring,
A series of weddings.
Into the woods is the trip to our soul.
It symbolizes our deepest secrets. Our biggest fears.
Fear and, at the same time desire and curiosity for the unknown.
Cyanotypes on vintage handmade cotton paper Amalfi, coptic bound.
The pictures used to the book are taken at the Caribean island Providencia. One picture is taken on my trip to Sweden.
