About this piece:
The first in a short series of small poetry collections on existential themes, this one is on death. The book was letterpress printed using the Baskerville typeface on paper made by hand from cotton rag fiber. The title is a short passage from Willa Cather’s My Antonia. The cover and title page feature an original abstract full bleed pigment-printed photograph. The haiku and senryu were selected from an open call published in the Haiku Society of America’s newsletter.
