Artist Statement about work:
This book is based on the idea that Philosophy is useless, that philosophers sit around talking about their ideas but nothing ever gets done. So I used the image of the School of Athens painting by Raphael to show the philosophy. The tunnel book was painstakingly cut out by hand, all of the text was written from my own head not taken from any other sources.
Created using the following Ideation Deck card draws: color – least favorite; structure – innovative structure; image – extracted from a sigle image; technique – low tech; layout – based on a historic example; text – abstract, non-verbal; paper – multiple colors.
