Description

About this piece:
I worked on this book after a travel experience in the North of Argentina, in the hidden valley of Ocumazo, in the Humahuaca region. It is a tale of a river which has the power to transform life. It is about the things we let go, in order to make this transformation happen, it is about the magic of Nature. The book opens with a poem by the Uruguayan poet Norberto Silva Itza. The story begins with a woman, standing by the river. She is sad and leaves her tears to the waters of the river. Then, in silence a bird approaches her a starts a ritual offering, giving her strength and hope. The project was written in Argentina in January 2014, and realized in Poland, at the Akademia Sztuk Pięknych and the Book Art Museum in Lodz in July 2014.
