As a child I loved sticking the blue chip stamps on the pages, then after a while we would go to the redemption center and get stuff. I cannot recall what we ever got, it was the joy of book work. I think making blue chip stamp books was one of my earliest books. While I was making this, I was restoring a late 1800 Bible and some of the pages were in shreds. I used the shreds to line the edges of the blue chip pages, as they are so old and fragile now, to make the pages stronger. I cut up photos to put in the blue chip squares and did a bit more altering, and wrote a few poems in it. The photos are part of a series of photos I did while doing the Ulysses project. Housed in a vellum clamshell box with magnet clasps.
