Artist Statement about work:
With ideation cards drawn and spread on the work table, they pointed me in this conceptual direction. A sampling from the vault of prose. Pick three; a beginning, middle and an end. If a picture is worth a million words … how much is a single word worth?
Created using the following Ideation Deck card draws: color – monochromatic; structure – unbound; image – found image; technique – unfamiliar; layout – based on a historic example; text – collaborate with a writer or poet; paper- pre-treated. Adjectives: fragmented or mosaic , non-sequential , sentimental or nostalgic , opposing or contrasting , textural
