About this piece:
This is a little story, about a journey to New York. It’s also about seeing a friend, traveling within the greater journey, architecture, and imagery. It can be read very literally, or very figuratively, and it can be my specific story, or a story that others will recognize their own travels in. Mostly, I wanted to remember a weekend in New York and this is what came out of that. Letterpress. Linoleum cuts and hand set Della Robbia type on Revere Suede paper. Encased Accordion.
All of the text and imagery is mine, and comes directly from this trip. It is surprisingly literal.
