Touch is part of a series based on my memories of certain romantic encounters and how they are analogous to specific bird behaviors. The tunnel book is a way for to capture the fragmented nature of memory: how those moments in time become layers of images and voices, and provide a snapshot into the event. It is a way for the viewer to see the whole story at once, but still experience the layering effect that I feel is evocative of the way our memories behave.
