About this piece:
From Inside was written as a tribute to the relationship the artist has with her sister. It is a formal acceptance of the extent to which the artist’s introverted nature depends on her sister’s extroverted nature; as well as a record of a goal that, with the extrovert’s help, becomes more attainable.
The book features blind contour drawings done by the artist and her sister as an exercise in taking the extrovert out of her comfort zone and putting the introvert into hers. The accordion folded pages are housed in a small box, but extend to a surprising length when pulled out of the box.
Letterpress-printed in two editions. Deluxe edition of six features paper handmade by the artist.
