About this piece:
September 11, 2001 was made about 9/11 and what I experienced that day. It was important to make the work so that I would remember and also archive the experience of a person living not far from the World Trade Center on 9/11.

About the artist:
Patricia Dahlman is a New Jersey artist that makes both two and three dimensional art work using thread. Dahlman has exhibited her work all over the United States and has been included in exhibitions at George Adams Gallery in NYC, Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek, CA, The Center For Book Arts in NYC and Mid-Manhattan Library in NYC. In 2010 Dahlman had a one person exhibition “The Art and Science of Happiness: Patricia Dahlman,” as part of the Dana Women Artist Series, at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
