Susan Hensel spent the first twenty years of her career as a studio artist working in functional and sculptural ceramics. Her transition to book arts incorporated a growing interest in handmade paper, drawing and writing. Widely exhibited throughout the United States, Hensel’s work is also held in numberous private and public collections.
