Eight Bedrooms examines the prominent role that memory serves in my relationship with my twin sister. From birth through our senior year in college, we shared 8 bedrooms; each page in this book presents a specific memory each of us formed in that place. I letterpress printed Sara’s memories in green and mine in red, and carved the floor plans of each bedroom from linoleum. On these prints, I used a pochoir technique to create a matching circle to represent where each of us slept in that room.
