About the artist:
Lives and works in Tirol, Austria.
Barbara Fuchs is an artist who likes the material paper. She loves to draw and the next step is to make prints: intaglio and sometimes lino- and woodcuts. She is also interested in history so she started to learn binding books in old style. A friend, and book-restaurator in the Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum, gave her bookbinding instruction. Since 1988 Barbara Fuchs has been exhibiting her work throughout Europe.
