About this piece:
One day I woke up deaf in one ear. I went through all the medical exams such as brain scan, hearing -tests, etc. Although most of my hearing return within a few days, I have a cicada still singing into my ear. After a long period of extreme stress, I guess this was the way that myself told me to “listen” to my body.
