About the artist:
Lives in Denver, Colorado, United States
Heidi West holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a dual concentration in Painting and Art Education. Although her primary studio practice centers on abstracted landscapes in oil, her work as a Teaching Artist with Thornton High School and The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art constantly informs her exploration in a variety of other media.
The exploration of color, texture, and pattern in her vivid oil paintings influence her hand-drawn designs, which are used as collage media applied to a wide exploration of innovative book forms. Heidi is a Colorado native who lives and works in Denver.
