About this piece:

With the contrary idea that I wished to bind books so that they could not be read, I looked for suitable books at the Goodwill Store. The first book I found was Bill Cosby’s I AM WHAT I ATE. It was perfect. On the shelf next to it was Deborah Winger’s UNDISCOVERED. They both made me think about the project in terms of uniting the concept with the titles.

The fact that their respective back and front covers show them each posed with their backs to the viewer further amplified the concept.
