About this piece:
Featuring text adapted from the Farmer’s Almanac, 12 Moons describes how the full moons of each month received their names. The artist book features original illustrations of the each of the 12 moons that were letterpress printed along with the text using photopolymer plates.

The illustrations were created to be representative of the names of the moon. The illustrations were also limited by the artist, by constructing them of nothing but circles. The book is case bound in book cloth covered boards that feature a letterpressed circle that represents the moon and also serves as the boundary for the illustrations.
