Over the past century, our home lives have changed dramatically, due to technology, wars, and a growing middle class, to name a few reasons. The faux diary entries and aprons in this book shed light on some of those changes. Arlen Evensen, apron historian, said, ‘It will be a long time before someone invents something that will replace that old apron that served so many purposes.’ The apron samples in this collaborative book were hand made based on historical patterns.
