About this piece:
Power Play is structured as a workable, six panel Jacob’s Ladder toy. Images of rock, paper, scissors appear in each panel. As the boards move and clack against each other, the images appear to change position and move down the line. The book’s concept stems from the idea that everyone believes they have power over someone else, but in fact, no one has any advantage. Therefore the act of asserting aggression is futile.
